I can see why they make the whole album available on streaming services like Spotify, but on YouTube it is very easy to download tracks without paying for them. Surely this reduces the album sales?

What happens more often in my experience is that artists appear to make the album available on YouTube but when you go into the album there are one or two tracks available, perhaps as Official Videos, with the remaining tracks being shown separately but with the description "This video is not available"
